Description
The Brain Research Lab at the Semel Institute is seeking to hire a Limited Part Time Statistician to consult as needed with the Principal Investigator.
The PI's lab conducts neuroimaging studies of typical and atypical brain development. In this role you will need to be available to consult on appropriate use of statistics for ongoing research projects, advise on advanced statistical approaches (e.
g. machine learning), and conduct statistical analyses as requested by team members. You will also be involved as part of the lab and collaborators' grant submissions.
Duties :
- Provide statistical consulting services to members of PI's team
- Perform statistical analyses as requested by the PI's team using Matlab and Python
- Explain and summarize data analysis findings to the team
- Assist with statistical analysis sections of grants in preparation
- Co-author publications with the PI
- Respond within 48 hours to email queries from the PI and other lab members
Please note that this limited position may convert to career. Pay Range : $26.63 - $52.97 hourly.
