What you will be doing :
- Perform classical hand calculations of metallic & composite structures
- Create stress substantiation reports and interface load documents for compliance with FAA regulations
- Create certification reports for submittal to FAA DER
- Create test plans and test reports for compliance with FAA regulations
- Perform Finite element analysis using FEMAP / NASTRAN
What you need to qualify :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Aerospace Engineering
- 5+ years' Stress Engineering experience in the aerospace industry
- Must have experience using different CAD Programs, free-body diagrams, classical stress analysis techniques and finite element analysis using FEMAP
- Customer oriented to interface with customer during development phase of new products.
- Leadership experience, a plus
