Operations Supervisor

Hours : Must be available Monday-Friday 2 : 00PM- 11 : 00PM

Job Description

  • Exhibit the desired behaviors that support McKesson's Culture of Excellence and i2Care and iLead values
  • Promote and communicate the facility's service vision emphasizing patient first
  • Through your authentic leadership you will influence, motivate and inspire your team to deliver their accountabilities
  • Culture of excellence, health and safety requirements, quality and compliance programs, KPI targets and results
  • Find new and better ways to drive growth and profitability and build the capability, structure and culture required for innovation
  • Demonstrate your commitment to employee engagement by deploying effective empowerment, feedback, coaching and development strategies for team members
  • Exercise effective employee and labor relations strategies to manage Employee concerns and performance related issues
  • Being a smaller facility, will have to perform physical aspects of receiving and shipping, which include, but are not limited to : drive material handling equipment, receive product in SAP, Load trailers and / or containers, work directly with customers as required.
  • Effective interpretation and facilitation of local collective agreement to foster relationship between management and the union
  • Coordinate and leverage internal / external business partners and units to achieve McKesson's vision of Customer First
  • Implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance
  • Perform preventative and corrective actions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Complete CARE investigations to help continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work with the following departments (safety, Quality Assurance, Transportation, Human Resources) to ensure McKesson standards are met.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a leadership role; experience leading teams members covered under a collective agreement considered an asset (this can include Team Leader experience)
  • Prior experience with mentoring and developing staff; committed to helping people succeed
  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement with fundamental understanding of change management

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree an asset; Business / Operations Management, Supply chain management or related field
  • Ability to capitalize on people's abilities - right people in right roles with the right responsibility
  • Can provide honest feedback and respectfully challenge others
  • Able to make difficult (sometimes unpopular) decisions when required
  • Demonstrated passion aligned with McKesson's corporate vision, leading with the employee in mind
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt communication skills to effectively influence different audiences
  • Actively seeks opportunities to build and maintain relationships both in and out of business unit
  • Labor Relations experience an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and make decisions under pressure
  • Experienced with utilizing Business Intelligence data to determine business decisions that deliver and exceed expected performance
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite : Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • SAP experience a plus, but not required.

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$52,700 - $87,900
