Summary :

Multiax Technologies is seeking a skilled and experienced and experienced service technician to join the technical support team.

The team member plays a critical role in ensuring optimal performance and reliability of our machinery for clients.

Responsibilities :

Installation and Maintenance : Install, set-up and configure multi-axis machining systems at client locations, perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability.

On-site support : Coordinate and schedule on-site visits to client facilities for complex technical support and maintenance.

Conduct thorough inspections, repairs, and adjustments to CNC machines to address issues efficiently.

Training and Education : Conduct training sessions for clients on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CNC machining systems.

Develop comprehensive training materials and documentation.

Documentation : Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities and provide detailed reports to clients and internal teams.

Continuous Improvement : Stay updated on the latest advancements in CNC technology, software updates, and industry best practices.

Collaboration : Communicate extensively with internal teams to enhance technical support processes and optimize customer satisfaction.

Customer Relationship Management : Cultivate strong relationships with customers.

Must Haves :

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, ability to convey technical concepts effectively.

Customer focused mindset with a passion for delivering high quality technical support and building lasting relationships.

Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site support and customer visits.

Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving common technical issues efficiently.

Proficiency in CNC programming, operation, and troubleshooting

Strong knowledge of CAD / CAM software and CNS Machine controls (e.g., OSAI, Fanuc, Siemens, Hass).

Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Education and Experience :

Minimum of 2 years in Engineering, Operations, or related field.

Associate degree or equivalent technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Service Technician or CNC machining systems in a manufacturing or machining environment.

Physical Requirements :

Manual Dexterity

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
