Essential Functions

80%- Assist new and continuing students with all aspects of the admissions, records, and registration functions. Supports Welcome Desk and Enrollment Center lobby with a strong focus on customer service, quick response times, and referrals to other related student service areas.

Updates student records as required, following FERPA (Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act) while adhering to any other applicable laws, policies, rules, or regulations

• 10% - Works in a team environment, attend meetings, provide functional support for A&R management team and may serve on committees or be assigned to document imaging records, or compose, edit and prepare correspondence.
• 5% - Assist with small group campus tours, including preparing materials and facilitating tours for new and prospective students
• 5% - Performs other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current student at Glendale Community College
• 2.5 GPA or higher

Desired Qualifications

A. One (1) or more years of experience working in student engagement / leadership, community service, volunteer work, or other extracurricular activities

B. One (1) or more years of experience providing front-line customer service

C. Experience using spreadsheets, databases or providing service through phone, email and chat
