IT Systems Administrator
Overview
Our client is urgently looking for an IT Systems Administrator; the ideal candidate for the role must be able to handle the following responsibilities for the company :
- System Maintenance : Installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems, software, and hardware.
- User Support : Providing technical support and troubleshooting issues for employees.
- Performance Monitoring : Monitoring system performance and ensuring reliable operation of IT systems.
- Backup : Managing data backup operations.
- Documentation : Creating and maintaining technical documentation. Qualifications / Skills
- 4+ years of System Administration Experience
- Technical Proficiency : Knowledge of operating systems, equipment, and technologies. Enterprise backup and recovery procedures.
- Performance monitoring tools
- Active Directory
- Virtualization
- SCCM server patching
- O365
- Okta Identity Provider (a plus)
- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve IT issues efficiently.
- Communication : Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
- Security Awareness : Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Adaptability : Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies.
- Change Management Mindset
