Overview :
The Automation Specialist plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems and processes within the organization.
This role is crucial in driving efficiency, accuracy, and reliability in various operational workflows through the use of automation tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and develop solutions
- Design, develop, and deploy automated processes and scripts to streamline workflows
- Monitor automated systems to ensure functionality and performance
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for automation solutions
- Optimize existing processes through automation and continuous improvement
- Create and maintain technical documentation for automated systems
- Stay updated with emerging automation technologies and best practices
- Participate in testing and quality assurance of automated processes
- Train and support end-users in utilizing automated tools and processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective automation solutions
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in automation, programming, or related roles
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
- Experience with automation tools and platforms (e.g., Selenium, Ansible, or Puppet)
- Ability to analyze processes and identify automation opportunities
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and version control systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proven track record of successful automation project implementations
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
