We are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Research Professor to become a part of the multidisciplinary research team.

The research is highly focused on understanding the interplay between genetic and epigenetic alterations in colorectal, pancreatic, gastric and esophageal cancers.

One of the primary translational research goals is to develop novel diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive biomarkers for various gastrointestinal cancers, as well as study immune regulation and identify novel therapeutic targets (e.

g. targeted therapies, immune checkpoint inhibitors) for various GI malignancies. Our multidisciplinary research group comprises of basic biologists, gastroenterologists, surgeons, oncologists and bioinformaticians, undertaking a number of collaborative projects involving large international consortia.

The Research Associate plans and organizes research projects under the direction of a Principal Investigator. The Research Associate coordinates and provides technical direction to research lab staff, analyzes data to determine next objectives, plans and organizes research projects and establishes procedures to be used in executing research studies, and coordinates and provides technical direction to the work activities of the project staff to ensure efficient and cost-effective completion of the project.

In addition, the Research Associate analyzes, interprets, compiles and reports project results to Principal Investigator and ensures that all safety procedures and research protocols are understood and adhered to by research staff members.

The Research Post Doctoral Fellow performs various laboratory procedures, basic research, lab maintenance and administrative duties under the general supervision of the Scientific Director or Principal Investigator.
