MRA is assisting one of our members with a Director of Human Resources role for a position in Milwaukee, WI. We are looking for someone that is interested in a comprehensive HR leadership role, requiring both strategic and tactical capabilities.

Someone who isn’t afraid of working day to day HR duties as well as being strategic in leading HR.

Responsibilities for this role are :

Developing, implementing, coordinating, refining, and performing policies and programs. Key areas include firm culture, talent acquisition, onboarding, compensation, benefits, leave administration, performance management, training, employee relations, retention, and offboarding.

Compliance : Ensures legal compliance and aligns with the firm’s mission and principles.

Essential Duties

  • Provide strategic leadership and serve as a business advisor.
  • Lead and guide the HR team.
  • Develop and implement strategies for team engagement and retention.
  • Oversee the employment lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding.
  • Manage benefit renewals and broker relationships.
  • Foster effective relationships and oversee team member events.
  • Manage talent / performance management processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in HR or relevant field required; Master’s or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience : 10 years in HR leadership roles; 3 years of supervisory experience; Experience in a family-owned business is preferred.
