Fire Protection / Electrical Technician (Construction NICET)

Summary :
We are looking for a qualified Electrical resource to support client responsibilities related to fire protection and alarm systems .
This individual will be responsible for performing periodic inspections and tests of basic fire alarm systems and prepare related records and reports.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Install, inspect, maintain, and update fire alarm systems in fast-paced construction and manufacturing environments.
- Perform inspections, test alarms, and troubleshoot or document any issues.
- Perform inspections to ensure alarms are installed according to code.
- Identify and troubleshoot problems to ensure systems are functioning properly.
Position Requirements and Qualifications :
- 5+ years of relevant experience supporting construction and industrial environments.
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- NICET certification preferred (requires prior experience or training).
- Knowledge of NFPA standards a plus (including 70 and 72).
- Must be able to ascend and descend stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
Education :
Must have NICET (or similar relevant) certification related to fire protection and alarming.
