Sentara Health Plans is currently hiring a Inventory Logistics Manager!

This is a Full Time position with day shift hours and great benefits!

Standard working hours : 8 am to 5 pm EST, M-F

Location : Local candidates will be hybrid. Will report to 824 N. Military Highway, Suite 210 Norfolk, VA 23502 approx 2-3x a week.

Job Responsibilities :

Responsible for leading and managing the corporate inventory team at Sentara Healthcare. This team is responsible for supporting the organization with all aspects of inventory management.

Areas of responsibility but not limited to the below :

  • Product Change management
  • Product backorder support
  • Sourcing of substitute products
  • Product Return management
  • Product Recall Management
  • Vendor Credentialing Management
  • System Communication for all product changes.
  • Inventory Analytics

Individual would work closely with our division partners within supply chain as well as clinical / physician leadership across the organization to collaborate on areas of responsibility.

Required qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain or a related healthcare management field REQUIRED

At least 5 years of experience in progressively more sophisticated inventory and logistics management roles REQUIRED

2 years’ experience with SAP, Workday and / or other health care supply chain ERP applications REQUIRED

Preferred qualifications :

Master’s degree is preferred.

Experience in optimization of inventory / logistics / materials management highly preferred but not required.

Experience in a health care setting is preferred but not required.

Inventory Analytics (skilled in Excel, PowerBI, PowerQuery, Tableau)
