Description :
The Maintenance Technician will perform preventative maintenance and repairs as scheduled or required in order to attain maximum productivity and functionality in plant operations.
The employee in this role must have strong communication, observational, and operational skills with an unbending focus on safety.
The maintenance technician repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Prior experience diagnosing mechanical and electronic systems using various tools and computers is a plus.
- Prior experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment is a plus.
- Assist fellow mechanics and technicians as required to perform Preventative Maintenance and work overloads to ensure equipment maintenance requirements are performed on a timely basis.
- Dismantle defective machines, and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
- Ability to work any shift including weekends when there is a breakdown of equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for 8 hours, and bend at the waist.
- To meet our customer needs such as providing excellent customer service by motivating the team, taking ownership of customer issues, and following problems through to resolution.
- Demonstrate 360-degree thinking in your professional field.
- Be agile to manage all strategic goals, plans, and tasks.

Education :
- High School Diploma or GED.
