Our client is a reputable full-service air transport company based on the East Coast. They specialize in providing dependable, compassionate, and tailored air transport services to patients, medical teams, and corporate travelers globally.

As an Inc. 5000 Company, they are a leading provider of Air Ambulance, Air Transport for Organ Transplant Teams, and Corporate Aviation needs.

Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Flight Coordinator / Scheduler with prior experience in 135 Charter operations. This role involves efficiently planning and coordinating charter flights under Part 135 regulations, ensuring adherence to critical timelines, and delivering exceptional service, especially in urgent medical and corporate air transport scenarios.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate and schedule charter flights in compliance with Part 135 regulations and company policies.
  • Liaise with pilots, flight crews, and ground personnel to ensure seamless flight operations.
  • Manage flight logistics, including crew scheduling, aircraft availability, and passenger requirements.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule aircraft inspections and maintenance as needed.
  • Monitor and update flight schedules, making timely adjustments to accommodate changes.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients regarding flight details and updates.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with other operators as required.

Qualifications and Requirements :

  • Previous experience working in flight coordination / scheduling within the Part 135 Charter environment is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of Part 135 regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, demonstrating acute attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in aviation scheduling software and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, adapting to changing situations.
  • Bonus : Experience with organ transplant logistics.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or a related field is preferred.

Location and Work Arrangement :

  • Ideal candidates may be based in New Jersey but should be open to remote work arrangements.
  • Both full-time and part-time roles will be considered.

Compensation :

Competitive salary ranges from $50,000 to $75,000 based on experience and qualifications.
