Responsibilities Work in a mixed acuity Med / Surg Tele unit caring for progressive care and medical-surgical oncology patients Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, 19 : 00-07 : 30 Day / night rotating shift option may be available Patient ratio of 1 : 5 Floats required to units of equivalent or lower acuity Uses EPIC for all charting Oncology experience is preferred but not required First week of orientation is Monday through Friday on day shift, followed by 36 hours of on-unit, precepted orientation Self-scheduling is available, but schedules are finalized and posted after balancing requests Must be willing to comply promptly with Ohio fingerprinting requirements Former employees are eligible if separated from the facility for at least 6 months Current employees are not eligible for hire as travelers at this facility Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers Requirements Active OH or compact RN license in hand at the time of consideration Minimum 2 years RN experience in a hospital setting required BCLS certification is required Proficiency with IV starts, telemetry, and tracheostomy management Epic EMR experience required Degree must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor Must provide all requested time-off / scheduling requests up front Previous travel experience is preferred but not required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-620929.
