This full-time, full-year position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners in a supportive and dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver engaging and effective instruction in all core subject areas to elementary students.
- Facilitate a bilingual classroom environment, providing instruction and support in both English and Spanish.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student achievement and well-being.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education or a related field
- Valid NY State teaching certification.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
- Previous experience teaching elementary students, preferably in a bilingual setting.
- Strong munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Contract Details :
- Full-time hours throughout the academic year.
- Contracted hourly position through Soliant Education.
