Salary : $16.36 -$20.74 / hour DOQ
By State law, all positions that work with children require all three CHILD CLEARANCES be obtained prior to the first day of work.
You should allow 4-6 weeks to obtain all clearances. If you work for at least one month, we will reimburse for the cost of the clearances ($60.

TENNIS INSTRUCTOR (PART-TIME)
REPORTS TO : TENNIS CENTER MANAGER
FLSA STATUS : NON-EXEMPT
NATURE OF WORK
This part time position consists of teaching adults and juniors the game of tennis at the Mt. Lebanon Tennis Center. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Tennis Center Manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Provides tennis instruction to participants of all ages and abilities.
Engages participants and maintains their interest with various drills and activities.
Provides information on programs and student progress to parents and students.
Ensures lessons are safe, fun and effective.
Records class attendance.
Ensures all equipment is ready for class in advance.
Cleans up equipment at the conclusion of activities.
Enforces facility rules.
Assists with tournaments as needed.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Performs all other work assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Clear understanding of tennis instruction.
Interpersonal skills.
Energy and enthusiasm regarding tennis instruction and the game of tennis.
Planning and organizational skills.
Basic tennis playing skills.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
PTR or USPTA certification
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, swing arms, push, pull, reach, use hands to handle or feel equipment and supplies.
The employee will need to be able to stand for long periods of time. The employee must regularly push and pull ball carts weighing approximately 40 lbs.
lift and / or move supplies and equipment up to 25. Requires normal range of hearing, eyesight and verbal communications to record, prepare and communicate to parents, students and the general public.
Essential physical job functions also include hearing, seeing (close up and distance), standing, sitting, climbing, bending, hand movements, holding, lifting (50+ lbs.
