PrideStaff Financial has partnered with our Frisco-based client in search of a dynamic Accountant to join their growing team.
The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience and be looking for a long-term career path.
Located in Frisco by The Star, this opportunity is just minutes from dining, entertainment, and shopping.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the review of accounting transactions, research and implementation of relevant accounting technical standards.
- Prepare the monthly consolidation reporting packages & partner effectively with the division accounting leaders to streamline month-end close processes.
- Preparation of annual audit and quarterly review request from external auditors
- Assist with the preparation and review of board / investor reporting package
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly and annual fiscal closings
- Assist in production of financial information for ad hoc requests
- Support the month / quarter / year end close processes and the preparation of the monthly and quarterly internal management reports and related financial statement analytics.
- Borrowing base reporting, certificate preparation, lien holder reporting
- Contribute to business process improvement projects
- Additional ad hoc projects will be assigned
Position Requirements & Competencies :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of full cycle accounting experience
- Current knowledge of GAAP
- Understanding of financial controls and financial reporting.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven success in a fast-pace, growth-oriented, results-driven organization.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 Per Year
