The Chief Revenue Officer is a high-level leadership role that focuses on driving growth and maximizing profitability for the organization by building strategic alliances, partnerships and developing new business opportunities.

This position will be responsible for leading the growth strategy for our mortgage and lending software solutions & platforms.

This role involves identifying and securing new business opportunities, building and maintaining key relationships, and developing strategies to enhance our market presence.

Must have a deep understanding of mortgage technology and industry, a strong network of contacts / clients, and a proven track record in business development, specifically with lending software.

Job Requirements :

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and achieve revenue targets for lending products.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, alliances, and market expansion initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including mortgage brokers, lenders, real estate professionals, and financial institutions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, campaigns, promotional activities and collateral to support the growth and retention of clients.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technology; make recommendations to senior management on potential changes to enhance efficiencies and stay competitive.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing business development team, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients and partners.
  • Track and report on business development activities, performance metrics, and outcomes.
  • Collaborates with the management team to develop and support a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Influences executive leadership regarding matters of significant importance to the organization.
  • Leads briefings with senior leaders within the organization
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • This position has direct reports. Manages staff and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance;

rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications :

  • Proven track record of achieving business development goals and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong network of contacts / companies within the mortgage industry
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a team
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Possess strong motivated, results-driven approach, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the mortgage industry
