Overview
Epstein is seeking a Civil Site Design Engineer for the design and plan production of greenfield or brownfield site improvements including parking lots, storm and sanitary sewer systems, and utilities.
Projects are located throughout the country. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, proactive, and will have experience specific to private development.
This position requires candidates to design innovative and technically sound solutions in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
- 2+ years of successful project experience within a consulting engineering firm
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including 3D surface and pipe design modeling
- Awareness of other disciplines and the interrelationship of the various elements of design
- Strong analytical skills; knowledge of analysis methods
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of design standards, plan production procedures, and specifications is preferred
- Knowledge of hydrology and hydraulic design is preferred, including familiarity with sewer pipe and detention basin design
