Shift : 7 : 00 a.m. - 7 : 00 p.m. (rotating 12's)
Job Description :
Snelling has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician in Louisville, KY. This position will be responsible for maintaining and improving production equipment and facilities.
Install new equipment and repair existing equipment. The Maintenance Technician should be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Job duties include :
- Trouble shoot, repair, and maintain production equipment including mixers, mechanical seals, pumps, motors, valves, actuators, and industrial fans.
- Trouble shoot, repair, and maintain support equipment including boilers, cooling towers, chillers, scrubbers, forklifts, and a wastewater treatment facility.
- Understanding and repair of mechanical devices including augers, conveyors, and pneumatically controlled devices.
- Basic pipefitting. Welding skills a plus.
- Understanding and repair of boiler maintenance, trouble shooting and water treatment.
- Ability to use hand tools and basic industrial maintenance mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Basic HVAC skills.
- Install and relocate equipment as required.
Electrical and Control Skills Requirements :
- Understand and trouble shoot PLC logic and HMI integration
- Install, trouble shoot, and repair transmitting devices for temperature, pressure, pH, and mass meters.
- Install minor electrical wiring.
- Complete calibrations for various measuring devices.
- Trouble shoot and repair 120 / 240V electric circuits
