Civil Design Engineer (Land Development / Municipal)
Woodbury, NJ
Salary Starting : $55,000 - $75,000 (Depending on Experience)
Candidates must have proven experience in storm water management and hydraulic design calculations; site grading, sanitary & storm sewers;
PaDEP and PENNDOT permitting
- All Candidates must be competent in AutoCAD; have good technical writing skills; the ability to work in a team environment
- Strong emphasis, on the ability to respond with professionalism, to specific issues with clients, and / or between landowners, builders, developers, and municipalities, is also a must.
Requirements
- Must have storm environmental or water and sewer engineering background
- Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in civil design with a BSCE (or higher), and an EIT certification
- Plan to acquire PA PE license a MUST
- 2 years minimum relative field experience in storm water management
- Strong knowledge of land surveying laws, regulations, and industry best practices
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team collaboration
Requirements
5+ years previous service / maintenance experience Working knowledge of installing electrical systems Ability to lift, push, pull, and move moderately heavy objects Ability to ascend / descend ladders Good computer skills Possession of reliable transportation and basic hand tools Must hold a valid driver’s license Must be willing to travel, work nights, weekends and overtime Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
