Position : Manufacturing Trainee
Reports to : Vice President
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
Shift : 1st shift 8 : 00AM-5 : 00PM

Our client is a dynamic and innovative company specializing in bearings and power transmission products to the global distribution market.
We are committed to excellence in production and service, driven by a team of highly skilled professionals. We are currently seeking a motivated and driven Manufacturing trainee to join our team in a hands-on learning AND producer capacity.
This position will learn all aspects of the manufacturing floor as well as administrative duties such as process documentation and developing and writing of internal job descriptions.
Manufacturing Trainee Program Highlights :
Three-to-six-month training on various job assignments that are designed to accelerate the development of critical industry knowledge skills and experience including but not limited to :
Production management
Inventory and purchasing
Human resources and talent acquisition
Plant management
Primarily based in a manufacturing environment, balancing office and production floor activities.
Small project management skills with regular check-ins.
One-on-one mentoring with experienced internal leaders.
Opportunities to participate in leadership development activities and networking events.
Manufacturing Trainee Qualifications :
Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial environment OR previous experience in talent acquisition or HR in a manufacturing environment.
Interest in a manufacturing environment
An Associates degree or completion of a technical school or certification is desired.
Interest in setting up new processes and mapping process flows through a manufacturing shop
Ability to learn quickly and multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and leadership skills
Excellent work ethic and ability and interest to assume greater responsibility
Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite
Past leadership experience preferred (scholastic, work, and / or organizations)
Reporting Relationships :
In this position, you will report to the Vice President or assigned rotational manager.
