You will be responsible for the distribution, collection, and processing of incoming and outgoing mail. You will be determining appropriate postage, handling registered mail and packages, and ensuring the efficient operation of mail-related activities.
Key Responsibilities :
Sort, log, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, including US Government Client, UPS, FedEx, Priority Mail, and Certified Mail.
Manage relationships with third-party vendors related to mailroom and facility operations.
Maintain an accurate inventory of supplies and track mail operations using log-in and tracking reports, posting updates to the shared drive daily.
Assist with the preparation of shipping labels and the handling of inter-office, express packages, and postal mail through routine mail runs.
Receive, open, prepare, and scan documents as needed.
Utilize a company vehicle to pick up and deliver mail and packages at the post office.
Support daily facility operations and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years of experience in mailroom operations or a related field.
Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in mail handling.
Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines.
Comfortable working under supervision with limited need for independent judgment.
Additional Skills :
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks.
Proficiency with mail processing equipment and software (training will be provided).
Valid driver's license for mail pick-up and delivery tasks.
