We’re looking for an amazing Employee Relations professional to join our team. The Manager, Employee Relations manages both Fleet and Shore Employee Relations function primarily focused on the development, implementation and administration of business and operational employee relations which include Investigations, projects, programs, and policy.
Initiate development, interpret, and administer policies and procedures as well as provide employee relations services to the business including counseling, problem-solving, conflict resolution and employee engagement.

Responsibilities :
- Manages and oversees employee relations team, programs, and services to enhance the relationship between the organization and its employees and among the employees themselves.
- Manage and provide direction and development to investigations team and work in collaboration with fleet and shoreside Partners, HR Officers onboard and Crew Care team.
- Ensures investigations are properly conducted and documented and that there is proper adherence to policies and other compliance.
- Coaches’ supervisors on performance management and development of direct-reports and advises on creation of performance improvement plans or disciplinary actions.
Support operational departments with development and implementation of action plans in collaboration with People (HR) Partners
- Ensures appraisals are aligned performance expectations in accordance with applicable policy.
- Coaches and develops fleet and shoreside staff to maximize potential and create a cohesive team environment.
- Consults with People Partners to develop and implement strategies to optimize organizational employee relations to support business objectives.
Supports employee relations incidents and associated with re-organizations / restructuring activities.
Exhibits sound judgment and strong leadership by clearly defining labor laws, Company policy and Core Values, providing guidance to management and employees.
Ensures fair treatment of employees and equitable resolution of employee problems and complaints.
Reviews company policies and practices for accuracy and scope. Works in conjunction with internal teams to develop and implement new policies and required training modules.
Acts as liaison with compliance and legal to State and Federal agencies as well as Flag and Compliance teams for reporting of information or to resolve employee complaints or claims against the Company.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Organizational Development.
- 5 plus years of experience in a Human Resources Management role with significant emphasis in investigations and employee relations.
- Hospitality and Cruise business experience a plus.
- Knowledge in federal and state labor laws.
- Knowledge in international labor and maritime laws a plus but not required
- Proficient in policies, practices, and procedures of internal investigations.
- Project Management experience.
- Proven interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong communication skills. Both written and spoken
- Proficient in computer skills including spreadsheet applications.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (., H-1B status).

Base Salary Range : $90,700.00 to $122,50.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired.
Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
