Position Summary

Reporting to the Sales Director,you will implement national sales programs in USA by developing field sales action plans.

What will you do

  • Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans in the territory of the USA.
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Establish and adjust strategy by monitoring costs, competition, and demand.
  • Develop and maintain business contacts, and ensure that the company mission, programs, products, and services are consistently presented suitably and positively in all the forums involving potential customers.
  • Support the business development strategy process.
  • Manage specific clients, products, and services.
  • Travel to potential customer’s facilities, providing information and support to secure business, including building / maintaining relationships with top executives within customer organizations to expedite growth
  • Conduct in-person demonstrations of our EEG diagnostic products to potential clients.
  • Actively participate in EEG related trade shows, exhibitions, conventions, and courses
  • Evaluate territory performance and project growth in conjunction with the sales team
  • Communicate customer requirements and request support from other departments as necessary to assist in achieving established objectives
  • Recommend areas of future growth potential such as acquisitions, new market strategies, etc.
  • Assist in establishing sales objectives for the territory in cooperation with management
  • Timely field activity and special reporting to assist in business and product planning.
  • Assure sales activities in the territory comply with company policies and procedure
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts of sales by customer and product
  • Other duties as assigned

What do you need

Must-have

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration plus technical education.
  • 3 years of experience as a sales manager.
  • Prior experience in medical device field or in the medical / scientific / clinical research field is required
  • Proven track record of positive sales performance.
  • Demonstrated a history of exceeding sales goals and quotas
  • Ability to leverage existing relationships, across key decision-makers, to successfully close sales
  • Prior experience creating and implementing sales forecasts and plans
  • Understanding of social and other forms of media to navigate / network with potential customers
  • Prior experience Analyzing sales data.
  • Meeting sales goals by monitoring progress.

Bonus points

  • Experience as Sales Rep in Neurophysiology field (EEG, EMG, ERP, Sleep, Epilepsy )
  • This role is focused on the California market. The ideal candidate will be located there or nearby (West Coast)
  • Sales experience with a clinical background and / or start-up organizations

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions :

  • 50% travel required; must be able to obtain necessary travel documents; majority of travel will be regional but not limited to the defined territory.
  • Work hours outside normal business hours may be required to meet business needs
  • General sales positions may require some standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, finger dexterity, talking, hearing, visual acuity, and lifting and carrying up to 23kg.
