Job Location New York - New York, NY Education Level BA / BS The Help Desk and Inventory Coordinator coordinates our Inventory and Help Desk including 1) assigning tickets to technicians, monitoring and ensuring tickets are completed or escalated in a timely fashion and 2) ensuring all computer and related equipment is recorded in the inventory and updated when equipment is relocated or reassigned.
You will also be called upon to provide Tier 1 and higher level help desk support as well as assisting with the design and implementation of our Help Desk ticket / asset management system (Track-It).
Expertise in computer hardware and software troubleshooting required, as well as firewall, VPN, anti-virus, and Mobile Device Management.
Job Functions
- Manage all aspects of the agency computer system inventory (incoming and outgoing assets)
- Asset management via spreadsheet and the Track-It ticket system

Physical Requirements :
The successful candidate may be called upon at times to assist with end user computer installations / replacement as well as other MIS Department server installations and support .
Education and Experience :
- Bachelors degree in IT, MIS, CIS, Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of IT industry experience preferred, preferably 1-2 years of experience working in a Healthcare environment.
- NOTE : Recent college graduates with the above degree and education are encouraged to apply.
- Additional years of directly related experience may substitute for the educational requirements; minimum High School diploma or GED required
- May have to travel between or among buildings and may be rotated to other buildings
Licensure Requirements :
Valid NYS Drivers License OR
Valid Drivers License from another State PLUS a NYS non-Drivers Photo ID
