Position Summary
This position is responsible for daily ERP / electronic data interchange (EDI) operations to meet or exceed all customer expectations.
As an ERP / EDI Specialist, you play a critical role in ensuring smooth business transactions between our organization and external partners through electronic channels.
Your Challenge
- ERP / EDI Processing and Support :
- Provide support for ERP EDI processing, tracking, and tracing of customer / supplier EDI documents via related portals and our ERP system.
- Resolve any ERP / EDI-related issues promptly by applying analytical and critical thinking skills.
- System Documentation and Testing :
- Document system requirements and develop functional design documentation.
- Configure solutions and conduct thorough unit / integration testing to meet customer expectations.
- System Maintenance and Implementation :
- Perform system maintenance to update records, specifications, and operating procedures for partner systems and account transactions.
- Coordinate and manage implementation efforts for new EDI transactions in collaboration with customers and partners.
- Internal Training and Communication :
- Support internal training for users and technical staff on general applications and programs.
- Establish and maintain effective communication within the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Your expertise ensures reliable and effective EDI system translations and data interfaces to our ERP system, contributing to seamless business operations.
Your Profile :
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 3 years related ERP Distribution functions (Sage X3, SAP, Infor or similar) experience along with at least 1 years of Sage X3 expertise.
- Good understanding of EDI transactions
- Problem Solving, Critical thinking, time management skills are a must
- Must complete New Employee Orientation, Quality Systems Overview, and Team Problem Solving training in addition to any training identified in the Quality System Responsibility Matrix.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
