Additional Information : 2 SLPs for Elementary, around 40 students
Description :
Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a flexible contract assignment in Austin, TX! Soliant has partnered with a large school district and is seeking part- and full-time contract Speech-Language Pathologists to support elementary and junior high schools.
Requirements :
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
- Texas Speech-Language Pathology License
Responsibilities :
- Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
- Participate in ARD (Admissions, Referral, and Dismissal) meetings to determine student eligibility.
- Provide individual and / or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
- Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
- Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
- Provide reports of a students progress to parents.
- Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
- Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
