- Honest and Truthful The Project Coordinator in the Landscape Design Studio is skilled in the development of multiple landscape design projects from the schematic design phase through completion of construction administration.
The incumbent will possess a diverse knowledge of landscape architectural principles and practices to help advance a variety of different projects in the firm.
- Provides full support from the schematic design phase through construction documents on projects of various sizes or in specific areas of medium to large projects.
- Independently applies advanced landscape architectural concepts and designs
- Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned major project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meet the clients' needs
- Assists with client and project coordination and presentation materials
- Attends client meetings and prepares meeting notes with the opportunity to lead meetings
- May provide technical guidance to less experienced team members
- Knowledgeably and inventively engages design issues including :
Concept development and site utilization
The critical relationship and reciprocity of interior and exterior spaces
Landscape aesthetics with special focus on materiality, tectonics, and the productive stylistic association with the architecture
Site grading and drainage design and documentation
Planting design and plant material specifications
Pool / spa design
Decorative water feature design
Decorative landscape lighting design
Irrigation system diagramming and detailing

This position has no supervisory responsibilities We work in a collaborative, indoor office environment at the top of the historic Meadows Building at Energy Square.
This is a great location with quick access to US-75 and the Lovers Lane DART Station practically on site. Normal working hours are 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 30 PM Central Monday through Friday with one hour for lunch, but we are flexible if our business and clients' needs remain priority #1.
Occasionally, there may be a need to work outside of normal work hours or weekends to meet project deadlines. Occasional local travel and possible overnight travel may be required. Skills Required :
- Professionally accredited Bachelor or Master of Landscape Architecture degree required
- Licensure preferred but not required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience,
preferably in residential landscapes and associated plant materials and hardscape planning and detailing, preferably in the DFW region
- Experienced AutoCAD user for construction detailing
- A working knowledge of Revit
- 2D and 3D landscape rendering skills using Adobe Creative Suite
- Sketch-Up experience for 3D modeling, preferred* Grading and drainage design and documentation experience
- A working knowledge of basic residential foundation systems
- Proficient with technical detailing and drawing set development / management
- Strong sketch and visualization capabilities to quickly produce the graphic presentations, including layout of design concepts, masterplan proposals, materials palette boards, and client presentations using the Adobe Creative Suite
