Reach Truck forklift operator

Penmac Staffing is hiring experienced Crown Stand-Up Reach Truck Operators for a large vehicle manufacturer in Greer, SC.

Weekly pay for these forklift operator positions starts at $17-18.50 per hour, depending on shift. We are hiring immediately;

orientations will be held each week for multiple openings on all shifts!As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for unloading / loading automotive parts from trucks and bulk containers.

You will be lifting parts that come in bins, racks, and pallets and be responsible to put them on appropriate shelves in the warehouse.

You'll be successful as a forklift operator if you are a reliable, quick thinking, team player who enjoys the fast pace of a warehouse environment and can work safely.

You must be comfortable working up to 12 hour shifts and must wear steel-toed shoes or boots.At least six months of experience on stand-up Crown reach trucks as an operator, material handler, or in a similar warehouse associate role is required.

You will be expected to skillfully operate a Crown stand-up reach truck and pass a skills test on your first day on the job.

A criminal background check is also required. These are the available schedules for this Reach Truck Operator position :

A Shift (1st shift) is Monday-Friday 6 : 00 am-2 : 30 pm (will work 10 hour shifts when mandatory OT is required). $17.00 per hour for A Shift.

Responsibilities of the Reach Truck Operator include :

• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and / or shipped.
• Working in a fast-paced environment, you may use certain types of equipment such as stand up forklift, sit down fork lift, pallet jack or tugger to transport product to and from production lines and to load and unload trailers.
• Work in a traditional warehousing type environment responsible for navigating narrow aisle ways and are expected to execute precise routes throughout the warehouse involving driving backward and making sharp turns.
• Utilize scanners to accurately store and transport parts to storage areas and production according to standard work instructions.
• Organizing facility or warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
