Graham Technologies (GTECH) is looking for a Senior Data Architect who focuses on the movement of information across systems and demonstrates expertise in requirements engineering, software architecture, testing, and deployment.

They play a critical role in designing database systems to facilitate the easy publication and sharing of data within and outside the organization.

By adhering to industry standards, data architects enable accurate information reporting to relevant entities. Senior Data Architects review existing data architecture, determine specifications for new systems, and design databases that organize vast amounts of information, such as company spending.

They incorporate scalability for future modifications, ensuring the adaptability of the database as the company evolves.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze requirements related to data movement and interaction across the system.
• Demonstrate expertise in software architecture, ensuring the efficient flow of data between applications.
• Oversee and contribute to software testing processes to validate the integrity and functionality of data architectures.
• Manage and coordinate the deployment of software, ensuring seamless integration with the technical architecture.
• Design database systems to allow easy publication, sharing, and accurate reporting of data.
• Organize large datasets, such as company spending, within the databases.
• Adhere to industry standards in the creation and implementation of data architecture.
• Assess and review any existing data architecture, identifying areas for improvement.
• Determine specifications for the size and requirements of new data systems.
• Design databases with scalability in mind, accommodating future modifications and company growth.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree (MA / MS)
• Ten (10) years of professional experience in data architecture or related roles.
• US Citizen with the ability to pass a background check
• Demonstrated expertise in requirements engineering, software architecture, testing, and deployment.
• Strong skills in designing database systems for easy data publication, sharing, and accurate reporting
• Ability to organize large datasets effectively.
• Commitment to adhering to industry standards in data architecture.
• Experience in reviewing existing data architecture and assessing areas for improvement.
