GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for accounting, analysis, reporting and financial decision support. This position applies strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and technical skills to provide value-added support and insights.

The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration and regular dialogue and reporting with internal local customers and remote company locations.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparation and analysis of KPIs, monthly financial statements and management reporting packages
  • Responsible for month-end closing, including accruals, journal entries and variance analysis.
  • Coordination and preparation of annual budget, monthly forecasts, and financial models.
  • Pro-active identification and implementation of opportunities to automate, streamline and improve reporting and processes.
  • Maintains internal control documentation and test internal controls.
  • Supports special projects and other responsibilities as needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related
  • 3+ years’ work experience preferably in commercial analysis
  • Knowledge and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Experience and proficiency in the financial analysis discipline
  • PC proficient, with advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to adapt to various software and applications to efficiently collect and analyze data and apply sound business judgment to inform and advise business decisions.
  • Organizational savvy with keen attention to detail
  • Able to work well with multiple departments and multiple levels in the organization.
  • Effective communication and listening skills
  • Ability to build the business through improved analysis, trending and reporting
  • Sound business judgment and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous situations
  • Team mentality and ability to work collaboratively within the department and cross-functionally
  • Innovative and creative thinker, with strong problem-solving skills

  • Passionate about Oakley brand / sports performance industry
  • SAP experience
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Team-oriented / collaborative approach
  • Experience in a multi-national company

Pay Range : 73,149.58 - 100,909.05

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.

In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and / or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
