A company is looking for a Data Center Technician I to assist with hardware installation and maintenance in a data center environment.

Key Responsibilities : Assist with installing, moving, and decommissioning hardware and cabling in the data centerConfirm and label devices, racks, and cables while following standard operating proceduresProvide clear communication through a standard ticketing system under the direction of supervisorsRequired Qualifications : High school diploma or GED with 0 to 2 years of related experience or equivalent educationAbility to respond to on-call requests within 1 hourUnderstanding of cabling systems, including CAT5e, CAT6, and fiber opticsFamiliarity with data center best practices and basic knowledge of electrical and HVAC infrastructuresAbility to operate material handling equipment, such as server lifts and pallet jacks (if certified)
