SAP/MES Digital Product Specialist

Job Description :

Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for a SAP / MES Product Specialist to join our Digital Team based in Mobile, AL.

As SAP / MES Digital Product Specialist Airbus North America, you will be responsible for :

IM related activities for SAP / MES (ME and Apriso)

Appropriation of the SAP Solutions related to the following Assembly process :

Manufacturing Engineering : Work Preparation / Bill Of Material / Routings

Manufacturing Engineering : Planning (Work Scheduling) and Material Demand management

Manufacturing Operations : Work Order lifecycle

Manufacturing Operations : Work Execution / Monitoring

Quality : Inspections / Conformity / Non Conformity

Nearby on Airbus Way’ you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019.

Your Challenges

Perform all IM functional and technical activities related to product and service line

Follow strategic alignment of IM strategy and roadmap

Implement Products and Services in the North America Region (US) in line with Airbus overall standards as defined in Europe or in the frame of the Region.

Responsible for Continuous Release Management

Foster innovation within the IM service lines and ensure a pipeline of innovative features and technologies is maintained to feed roadmap evolutions

Represent your function and promote its vision, value, services, and capabilities

Follow policies, standards and guidelines related to transverse governance are strictly applied in their perimeter

Ensure continuity of product changes to ensure proper alignment with concurring projects and strategic planning of product line

Ensure technical and functional processes are adhered to when testing tool solutions

Collaborate with business and IM colleagues to resolve product issues within respective service line and SLA requirements

Ensures and secure strategic vision alignment between his / her function and the Business

Manage projects tasks / activities that are in the scope of the SAP / MES by using appropriate methodology (waterfall, fast track, agile)

Partners with the business and others IM Domains / PSL / Products & Services to ensure proper design and implementation of Business solutions in SAP.

Responsible for deploying and supporting SAP / MES fulfilling local business needs in line with product adherence

Responsible for deploying and supporting SAP / MES on their assigned scope of work

Responsible for guaranteeing end-to-end of services according to agreed SLAs established with the business

Liaise with the business and IM teams back in Europe to contribute to the design / development of solutions and prepare the deployment and support of those solutions

Liaise and synchronize with different IM Domains teams to ensure smooth deployment and appropriate level of performance of the end to end services

Your boarding pass :

5-8 Years of experience in application development and support in the manufacturing environment.

Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred 2-5 years of experience in people management is a plus.

Understanding of Airbus IM standards, project and services methodologies and procedures.

Knowledge of IT supplier landscape in North America is a plus.

Knowledge in software solutions SAP ERP / MES Apriso (is a plus)

Technical Systems Proficiency :

Knowledge of SAP-PP / MM / QM is mandatory

Knowledge of SAP-PM is a plus

Knowledge of Cloud solutions is a plus

Knowledge of SAP Big Data tools is a plus
