Personal Injury Attorney

Talis Group’s client, a well-established and reputable Personal Injury firm based in Louisville that handles large complex cases as well as smaller injury cases.

The firm recently opened an office in Lexington and is looking for an Attorney to join their team. The Partners are well respected nationally for their experience in large class action suits.

The firm is looking for an experienced Personal Injury Attorney with 3 years of auto injury experience that may be looking for leadership opportunities.

This firm is concerned about work life balance and typically Attorneys work 45 hours per week and weekends are never required.

The firm offers flexibility to work remote when needed once the Attorney is trained. Culture is very team structured. This position will offer strong base salary : $90-$100 based on experience as well as quarterly (up to $40k) and annual bonus opportunities.

Highlighted Duties :

• Mentor less experienced Attorneys and staff
• Monitor prelitigation reporting to ensure cases are moving efficiently through the process
• Provide guidance to support staff to ensure profitability and goals are met
• Manage Personal Injury claims from inception to resolution
• Counsel clients through process, including regular updates
• Manage all pre-suit investigation - discovery, depositions, experts, etc.
• Review medical documents and calculate damages
• Research and analyze case specific legal issues, documentation, insurance policies, etc.

Highlighted Requirements :

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited school of law.
• License to practice law in Kentucky or transferrable UBE
• 3+ years of Personal Injury Litigation
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, prioritize and to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong and persuasive written and verbal skills. Negotiating experience.
• Pre-suit deposition experience, and discovery / investigatory experience.
