Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

Location : Pottstown, PA

Salary Range : $95,000 - $120,000 (plus Bonus, Shift Differential, and Signing Bonus )

Position Type : Full-Time / Part-Time (New Grads Welcome!)

Responsibilities : As a Registered Nurse in Behavioral Health, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care to patients with mental health conditions.

Your responsibilities include :

  • Assessment and Planning :
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess patients’ mental health needs.
  • Develop individualized nursing care plans based on patient assessments.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to address behavioral health issues.
  • Patient Care :
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide therapeutic interventions.
  • Support patients in crisis, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Foster a therapeutic environment that promotes healing and recovery.
  • Collaboration :
  • Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to patient care planning.
  • Education and Support :
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement during challenging times.

Education Requirements :

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.

Experience :

Prior experience in Nursing is required.

Certification and Licensure :

Valid PA Registered Nurse License.

Required Skills :

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with patients.
