Aseptic Maintenance Specialist - Night Shift

SCHEDULE : 8pm - 6am Thursday - Sunday

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot equipment which includes both electrical and mechanical systems
• Perform and assist in repair or updating and installation of equipment
• Work closely with production to minimize downtime while maintaining high quality
• Monitor efficiencies of aseptic area packing and processing equipment
• Ensure proper preventative maintenance structure is in place and being followed
• Initiate corrective actions and implement solutions to productivity performance issues
• Assist area maintenance mechanics with preventive and breakdown maintenance of filling lines and processing equipment as needed
• Provide individualized training to maintenance and operations staff as required
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

• Able to read, understand, and adhere to documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, SDS, GMP, test procedures, and HACCP)
• Able to demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information
• Able to follow written, verbal and diagrammatic instructions; able to complete simple checklists and complete required documentation

• Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Able to solve problems by adapting knowledge and experience

• Able to perform complex or complicated maintenance activities / repairs independently
