Project Purchasing Leader - Livonia, MI
- Apply Commodity Purchasing strategies and coordinate ensuing action plans within the framework of his / her activity
- Lead activities and supplier performance in compliance with project schedules, milestones and budgets
- Sourcing Suppliers
- Issue RFP
- Interact with quality personnel (from Initial Samples to the Approval of Production Parts) regarding the qualification of suppliers throughout the product's service life
- Inform the project group and commodity buyer of technical-economic solutions available on the market
- Make decisions required to optimize results without questioning initial objectives
- Should have experience working in a high stress and dynamic environment.
- This role is very administrative in nature and someone with solid MS office skills and SAP is a plus.
Qualification :
- Bachelor's Degree
- Onsite in Livonia, MI (M-F), no hybrid or remote option
- Eager to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
- The Automotive Industry is very demanding but can also be very rewarding.
