Under direct supervision, performs all lab management functions of the department. Tracks a variety of lab information for all patients who are registered on approved clinical treatment protocols. Manages the reporting of lab data to company sponsor and other appropriate bodies. Maintains all research lab protocol and compliance reporting. Assists in the pre-screening and screening of patients for all clinical trial entry eligibility of potential subjects. Consistently and diligently communicates and assists with new screening intake information. Supports and adheres to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Qualifications : High School diploma or equivalent required. An associate’s degree preferred. Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant experience required. Two or more years of experience in Oncology / Research preferred. Ability to examine documents for accuracy and completeness required. Knowledge of medical terminology required. Knowledge of current FDA regulations, Good Clinical Practice, governing clinical research preferred. Current CPR certification required.
