As an Administrative Intern at Hartford Healthcare, you'll work closely with our administrative professionals, gaining exposure to diverse aspects of healthcare administration.
This 10-week paid internship provides hands-on experience under the guidance of HHC Leadership Team members. You'll engage in project-based work, collaborating with functional leaders in areas like human resources, health equity, quality, finance, operations, innovation, and more, contributing to your growth as a future healthcare leader.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with your preceptor on specialized projects, which may encompass research, data analysis, and report creation.
- Cultivate effective communication skills through interactions with team members, leadership, and, depending on your role or department, even patients.
- Engage in training sessions and workshops to elevate your administrative and professional proficiencies.
- Shadow experienced administrative professionals to gain first-hand insights into their roles and responsibilities.
- Actively participate in impact days, making meaningful contributions to enhance and support our local community.
