Key ResponsibilitiesToggling multiple systems and applications for patient registration and census reconciliationConducting insurance verification and mapping plan codes to insurance typesResolving unbilled encounters and managing electronic communications with providersRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma / GED or 3 years of relevant equivalent experience in lieu of diploma / GED0-2+ years of relevant experience in healthcare, particularly in billing and collections or patient registrationFamiliarity with insurance payer portals and real-time insurance eligibility verificationsKnowledge of health insurance plans, including HMO, PPO, and managed care
