Position Title : Regulatory Affairs Intern

Location : Washington, DC (Hybrid)

Reports to : Vice President, Senior Counsel, Regulatory Affairs

Essential Functions :

  • Assist the regulatory affairs team to review current developments in the regulation of financial markets.
  • Assist with preparing rule summaries and analyses.
  • Participate in weekly Policy team meetings, in addition to other relevant MFA Committee events.

Qualifications :

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate business, politics, and / or public policy program.
  • Available to work during MFA’s hours of operation (9 : 00 A.M. - 6 : 00 P.M.) for a minimum of three days during a full-work week.
  • Possess a strong interest in the financial services industry, as well as financial services policies in the U.S.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Has experience working with Microsoft products including Word and PowerPoint.
  • Possess strong time management abilities and the capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
