Work Location : Our Denver office is open, and we require all local staff to be in the office a minimum 2 days per week.
Work Schedule : Monday-Friday, Salaried role. Overtime may be required on occasion to support business needs.
Hiring rate / range : $70,000-85,000 base salary, annual bonus potential of up to a 15%
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and / or skill level.
The pay ratio between base and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
Summary
Travelers Haven is seeking a Financial Analyst to lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) & Business Analytics initiatives.
We are searching for someone highly motivated and analytical to support a variety of planning, budgeting, modeling, and analysis functions.
This position will report to the Controller and will be responsible for analyzing past financial performance to predict future performance.

Responsibilities
- Support the annual and quarterly planning / budgeting process, including modeling the balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow statements.
- Create detailed sales models by working with cross-functional leadership.
- Build and maintain reports that span every department of the company.
- Work closely with the leadership team to identify KPIs that drive success.
- Execute weekly and monthly update on progress to KPIs within various platforms the organization utilizes.
- Extract key insights from large data sets using excel and BI tools.
- Assist in presentation of monthly and quarterly financial results to the leadership team, helping to provide key takeaways along with recommendations.
- Assist the accounting function with the monthly close, including balance sheet and P&L variances and creating month-end reporting.
- Understand the interaction across various company databases and identify how to obtain the most meaningful information to answer data-related questions.
- Prepare scenario and margin analyses / models to assist with decisions across the company, and work on special projects and ad hoc requests as necessary.
- Maintain a tenacious and optimistic work ethic.
Required Education & Experience
- Substantial experience producing advanced financial models and proficiency in Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years in FP&A with ownership of forecasting process.
- Ability to prepare and present clear, concise financial reports and presentations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with senior leaders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
Preferred Education & Experience
- SQL knowledge
- Experience building dashboards within Tableau
- CPA is a major plus
