Recreational Therapist provides group therapy for patients and documents the process in the patient record in accordance with facility procedures.
A creative arts or expressive arts intervention or background would be preferred for patient knowledge and growth within their healing process.
This position will focus on coordinating therapeutic activity programs to effect improvement in the physical, mental, and social well-being of patients.
Prepares reports on patient progress, and with the consensus of the treatment team, modifies programs in accordance with the patient’s needs and capacities.
