Requirements

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and Manage Equipment : Oversee and operate equipment including table saws, compound miter saws, band saws, sanders, pneumatic nail guns, screw guns, etc.
• Production Oversight : Supervise and coordinate the production process, ensuring that all components meet company quality standards and customer specifications.

Manage workflow and scheduling to meet production deadlines.

Quality Assurance : Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that all products adhere to our high-quality standards.

Address and resolve any issues related to product quality or equipment performance.

• Team Leadership : Lead, train, and mentor production team members. Promote a collaborative and productive work environment, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Process Optimization : Identify and implement improvements in processing techniques and equipment usage to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity.
• Maintenance and Safety : Ensure regular maintenance of all machinery and equipment to keep them in optimal working condition.

Enforce safety protocols and promote a safe working environment for all team members.

Problem-Solving : Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues or equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in wood products / manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership role with the ability to manage, motivate, and train a team effectively
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with other team members
• Ability to self-direct, multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Bilingual is a plus (Spanish / English)
