Remote K-12 Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) Positions Available
Join our team! We are seeking dedicated Virtual Sign Language Interpreters for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. In this role, you'll leverage your ASL skills to facilitate communication and support students in virtual classrooms, helping to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Position Details :
- Employment Type : 1099 Contractor
- Duration : 2024-2025 School Year
- Availability : Full-time and Part-time options
- Grade Levels : K-12
- Number of Openings : 1
- Compensation : Highly competitive, ranging from $35 - $42per hour
Qualifications :
- Certification : 4.0 EIPA + Written
- Licensing : Active California State SLI License
- Experience : Previous school experience required; virtual interpreting experience highly preferred
Application Process :
- Initial Screening : 10-15 minute call with a VocoVision recruiter
- Tech Evaluation : 15-minute technical screening
- Virtual Interview : 20-30 minute session with the school district
Successful candidates typically receive an offer within 24-48 hours after the virtual interview.
