Reporting to the Vice President, Employee Experience and Social Impact, the organization includes five functions : News and Employee Engagement, Video, Employer Brand, Social Impact, Events and Design.

Your role at Sephora :

The Director of Events and Design leads Sephora’s internal events and design function within the Employee Engagement and Social Impact team.

The team includes the Events and Graphic Design Team. The role oversees the strategic planning and execution of internal meetings and events and design projects for our corporate office.

Reporting to the Vice President of Employee Engagement and Social Impact, the Director will have a deep knowledge of large scale / complicated programs and maintain first-class standards, policies, and procedures for how Sephora executes our projects.

  • Shape the strategy of programming for over 12 key events
  • In partnership with the Senior Manager of Design, lead the creative vision for the design team
  • Hire, lead and develop a team of event managers, designers and vendors to build out and execute the company strategy for large scale meetings / conferences, and design projects (remote and in-office) directing and delivering Sephora’s vision
  • Create and implement ongoing metrics, both qualitative and quantitative to measure success of meetings / events and design deliverables including overall budget of $6M
  • Collaborate with and guide Sephora Leaders on planning, management and execution of employee meetings and conferences.
  • Consult the Canadian events team on their current and future programming

  • The annual base salary range for this position is $184,000.00 - $211,000.00. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position;
  • years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held;

other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and / or from which they will perform the job.
