Staff Accountant

We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join a team of passionate and dedicated individuals with our manufacturing client located in Burr Ridge, IL.

This company has a positive work environment and opportunities to strengthen your professional contributions. To qualify, you must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least 2 years of full cycle accounting and payroll experience.

Responsibilities :

• Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Handle accounts payable functions including invoice processing, payments, and reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and post journal entries as needed.
• Reconcile accounts payable and payroll accounts, resolving discrepancies as they arise.
• Assist in financial reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information and support.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 2+ years of experience in accounting
• 2+ years of payroll experience using payroll software
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
