Job Title : Lead Front Office Receptionist Status : Time Reports To : Employee : Date : SUMMARY OF POSITION ESSENTIAL DUTIES Mentor and Coach other front desk receptionists within your assigned region.
Provide training to other front desk receptionists on best practices with patients. Organize training of new staff. Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting in person or on the telephone.
Answering patient inquiries regarding services provided, as well as retail products. Manage Scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
Keep patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival; reminding provider of service delays. Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information. Checking and verifying patient’s insurances.
Obtains revenue by recording and collecting patient charges, controlling credit extended to patients. Selling company products and services based on patient’s needs.
Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information. Maintains operations by following policies and procedures;
reporting needed changes. Contributes to team effort by working together towards common clinic goals. Providing positive feedback and encouraging results.
