RCIS Crop Claims Field Adjuster IIZurich is currently looking for a RCIS Crop Claims Field Adjuster II to work out of the state of Nebraska.

This incumbent will work from a home-based office. This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week. Approximately 50% travel is expected to cover the territory.

The ideal candidate will need to live and service within a 100-mile area of the following Nebraska counties : Phelps, Kearney, and / or Buffalo.

As a Crop Adjuster II, your primary responsibilities will include :

• With minimal supervision,pletes field inspections and related responsibilities such as reading maps and aerial photos, measuring fields, storage bins, and discussing findings of crop loss with farmers on the mostplex non-routine, problematic claims including controversial claims.
• Ability to conveyplex regulations and interpretations to claimants, agents, and industry people on claim situations.
• Performs fact finding regarding crop damage, records information and transmits loss information to accurately determine potential indemnities.
• Gather relevant facts, utilizing applicable law and establishing basic principles of negligence.
• Ensure legalpliance by maintaining a strong working knowledge of regulatory andpany policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the team effort by aplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Basic Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in the crop insurance and claims adjusting area
• Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) required
• Reliable personal transportation and travel within territory
• RCIS Crop Adjuster Physical Requirements : walk in agricultural fields up to 3 miles, climb agricultural storage bins up to 25 feet, lift 25 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonalmunication skills
• Strong organization and prioritization skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Experience providing technical training to other crop professionals
